Mother’s Little Helpers
The Mother’s Day tradition carried in 2013, as the kids picked out some annuals for Raina. The new twist this year was they they planted them (intead of me!), which made it an even more enjoyable experience all around. We had Jake, who just wanted to dig…he didn’t care where or why, just point out the next hole, please! Riley didn’t mind getting dirty, placing the new additions into the expanded garden around the light post. Then there’s Allie, the finisher. For her, it has to look just right. She has no problem adding a new layer of bagged topsoil at the end since “there’s no bugs in it”. A couple of shots of the finished product wind it up for now until the roots make themselves comfortable in their new home. Happy Mother’s Day!
